Central European Endoscopic Ear Surgery Course

Montag, 11.11.2019 - Dienstag, 12.11.2019

Olomouc, The Czech Republic

Wiss. Leitung

The Central European Endoscopic Ear Surgery Course is meant to offer trainees with the first insight in the value of endoscope during ear procedures, and to offer the expertise to experienced ear surgeons that would allow them to incorporate the endoscopes to their routine practice.

The course includes lectures, temporal bone dissection held in a step-by-step mode and panel discussions. Variety of lectures will cover all aspects of endoscopic ear surgery – principles, starting with ‘How to begin‘, equipment and instrumentation, OR set-up, raising tympanomeatal flap, endoscopic ear anatomy, basic and advanced techniques. The main emphasis will be given to hands-on temporal bone dissection.

We are honoured to offer a team of renowned lecturers who will come and share their knowledge and expertise with the course participants during two days packed with theoretical information combined with practical experience. M. Tarabichi from the American Hospital in Dubai is considered the father of the endoscopic ear surgery. Prof. D. Lee from the Mass Eye and Ear was one of the first endoscopic ear surgeons in the USA. Prof. A. Mikulec from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine is a very experienced surgeon otologist performing high volume of ear surgeries.
